Reference material
Vacation Rental Owner Resources
Sourced reference material for vacation-home owners, published with definitions, methodology, primary sources, and visible review dates so an owner can inspect the basis of each figure before relying on it. This section is a reference, not a sales page.
What this section is for
Owners deserve to see where a number comes from before they use it. Each dataset published here is built from primary sources — statutes, state and local agencies, and U.S. Census data — and carries its own definitions, methodology, and the date it was last checked. Where a figure comes from a source that updates on its own cadence, the material states both that source’s update date and the date this site last reviewed it, so a dated snapshot is never mistaken for a live feed.
